Project Overview
BlockShop is a decentralized e-commerce platform built on Ethereum, designed to enable trustless buying and selling of products using smart contracts. The platform removes reliance on centralized intermediaries by leveraging blockchain technology for payments, escrow, and transaction verification. The goal is to build a secure, scalable, and production-ready Web3 marketplace with seamless integration between smart contracts, backend services, and user-friendly frontend applications.
Responsiblilities
Frontend Developer: - Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js - Integrate Web3 functionality using ethers.js / MetaMask - Optimize UI/UX for performance and usability - Collaborate with backend and blockchain components Backend Developer: - Develop APIs and backend services using Node.js (Express) - Handle data flow between frontend and blockchain - Ensure scalability and reliability of backend systems - Optimize performance and system architecture Smart Contract Developer: - Design and develop smart contracts using Solidity - Implement escrow, order management, and payment logic - Ensure gas optimization and contract efficiency - Conduct testing and improve smart contract security
Requirements
Frontend Developer: - Experience with React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS - Familiarity with Web3 integration (ethers.js or web3.js) - Understanding of responsive design and UI optimization Backend Developer: - Strong experience with Node.js and Express - Knowledge of REST APIs and database systems - Understanding of system architecture and scalability Smart Contract Developer: - Experience with Solidity and Ethereum development - Knowledge of Hardhat or similar frameworks - Strong understanding of DeFi concepts and smart contract security - Experience with gas optimization and contract auditing is a plus
